Working around the clock, Bay Alarm's state-of-the-art Monitoring Center proves to be a critical communication link contributing to the aid and apprehension of many would-be thieves. Check out some of last year's successful captures:
Tuesday, January 1, 2008 @ 03:31 - A clothing store in Richmond, CA started the New Year off with a bang. Thanks to Monitoring Agent, Sara C.'s, quick dispatch to police, an attempted burglary was foiled without any property stolen or damaged. Nice work, Sara!
Friday, February 22, 2008, @ 01:20 -- One of Bay's newest Monitoring Agents, Catrina D., assisted in her first capture at a clothing store in Antioch, CA. With the help of video surveillance, Catrina was able to give the police an accurate description of the suspect and a capture soon followed. Great start, Catrina!
Tuesday, May 13, 2008 @ 02:12 -- Monitoring Agent, Edward S., received an alarm signal tripped by a motion detector linked to a camera positioned at the entryway of a business in Antioch, CA. Through the video surveillance image, Edward was able to get a clear description of the suspect and immediately dispatch the information to police. With this information, the police were able to quickly capture and arrest the suspect. Job well done, Edward!
Saturday, June 14, 2008 -- With Monitoring Agent, Jadar E.'s, diligence and attention to detail, the Benicia Police Department was able to apprehend a suspect at a local Wholesale Distribution Company. Way to go Jadar, keep up the good work!

Thursday, September 28, 2008 @ 06:31 -- Monitoring Agent, Brandi J., received a call from a bystander advising her they had found a broken window and merchandise missing from a local clothing store in Berkeley, CA. Brandi Juarez simulated the alarm and dispatched the Police. Additional signals were received from a rear motion zone and Brandi called the PD to give them the update, the operator informed her that authorities were already on site and had someone in custody. Fast Action, Brandi!
Friday, November 7, 2008 @ 15:34 -- One of Bay Alarm's newest dispatchers, Jadar E., responded to a "Teller hold-up alarm" at a Bank in Visalia, CA. Due to his quick reaction dispatching, the police were able to apprehend the criminal! Great Rookie Move, Jadar!
Monday, December 8, 2008 @ 16:05 -- A "Hold-Up Button" was alarmed from a local Supermarket in Canoga Park, CA. A man went in to the store carrying a firearm attempting to rob the market. A very cool-headed operator, Ava M., quickly acknowledged the alarm at 16:05 and dispatched LAPD. Officers were able to take the suspect into custody without incident. Way to keep your cool, Ava!
Thursday, December 11, 2008 @ 21:38 -- the Milpitas Police Department was able to capture a subject on the roof of a Construction business attempting to steal copper. With the use of video surveillance equipment, Monitoring Agent, Roland G., was able to guide the police directly to the thief. Way to stay on it, Roland!
