Bay Alarm Employee Wins 2009 Unsung Hero Award

Pacheco, California - August 15, 2009 - Bay Alarm Congratulates Steve Burchfield on Receiving 2009 Unsung Hero Award

Steve Burchfield has been with Bay Alarm Company for over 17 years. After retiring as a police officer for the Santa Clara County Transit District, Steve began working for Bay Alarm as an alarm response agent and later moved to residential sales. For almost ten years, Steve has been working with the SVCCJ Victim Witness Assistance Center to provide alarm services and protection for their clients. With this program, Bay Alarm provides a basic alarm system with 2 years free monitoring, to clients in need and since the beginning of the program, 60 systems have been installed in victim's homes (an estimated $20,000 in costs).

"In the course of my work, I meet a lot of customers who are just exploring the need for alarm systems, but the Victim Assistance clients have a very real and emergency need. I am honored to be able to help them," says Steve and Bay Alarm is also honored to assist Steve in his generous and worthy cause.
