Extend the one-year parts and labor warranty on your Residential Security System. Protect yourself against unanticipated repair bills down the road with our Protection Plus Extended Service Warranty.

As your system gets older, the cost of purchasing the Protection Plus Extended Service Warranty increases.
Once enrolled, you are entitled to maintain your existing rate for as long as you continue the service.*

If your system is less than 5 years old, your rate is $6.00 per month. **
If your system is more than 5 years old, your rate is $10.00 per month. **

* Minimum 12-month contract if repair service is rendered after date of issuance or renewal.
** Bay Alarm reserves the right to change the warranty rates at any time.

Your Protection Plus Extended Service Warranty will include:

All repair and replacement of Bay Alarm installed parts caused by normal wear and tear *
Parts include: contacts, smoke detectors, motion sensors, sirens, glass break detectors, bells, keypads and control
panels. Alarm screens, wireless device batteries and labor associated with wireless device battery replacement,
back-up radio and wireless keyfobs are NOT included.
All labor charges associated with the warranty
Including travel time.
24-hour service
No matter when you need repair, we have operators and service technicians standing by to provide you with service
24 hours per day, 365 days of the year.
Unlimited availability
No matter how often you need warranty service over the life of your contract, there will be no additional charge for the
service or repair.
Our guarantee
We will make all necessary repairs to ensure your system is working properly for as long as you pay for service.

Terms and Conditions

Bay Alarm reserves the right to check and inspect the security system prior to the authorization of the Protection Plus Extended Service Warranty.
Scope of Service: Bay Alarm shall provide repair service for only Bay Alarm installed alarm systems including parts and labor subject to manufacturer
availability. Parts and service already covered under any limited warranty will be provided pursuant to that warranty. Bay Alarm may substitute parts and
materials of similar quality and functionality at time of replacement and may install reconditioned parts. Any upgrades as a result of parts no longer
available will be at the customer’s expense, including labor.
Term and Renewal: The term of this agreement will begin on the date of original warranty expiration or date of issuance, whichever applies, and is to be no
less than 12 months if repair service is rendered after the date of issuance. It will automatically renew with the same terms and conditions as the Bay Alarm Monitoring Agreement.
Limitations: This agreement does not cover the following:
1. Security systems used for applications other than family or household purposes.
2. Installation or reinstallation of additional devices or changes to the system which may be necessitated by remodeling, decorating or other changes
  to the protected premises.
3. Alarm screens, antenna systems or radio transmitters on Cellnet or Cellnet GSM systems.
4. Repairs to the system as a result of damage caused by accident, misuse or abuse of the system, acts of Nature, including inclement weather,
  attempted unauthorized repair service or reasons other than normal wear and tear.
Bay Alarm’s License: Alarm company operators are licensed and regulated by the Bureau of Collection and Investigative Services, Department of
Consumer Affairs, Sacramento, California, 95814.
