24/7 Home Alarm Monitoring
Bay Alarm will always be there for you, when you need us most.

Our monitoring agents are ready to help the moment they receive an alarm notification.
You aren’t home 24/7—but your alarm system is. You should expect a swift response that protects your home, loved ones, and belongings in the case of an emergency. And that's where Bay Alarm’s alarm monitoring can help: when your alarm system sends an alert to our monitoring facility, professionally trained agents verify the alarm and immediately dispatch the appropriate authorities upon verification. With alarm monitoring, you no longer have to deal with emergencies alone.
With alarm system monitoring,
your system will offer protection beyond passive deterrence.
Bay Alarm offers a suite of alarm technology that integrates with your whole-home alarm system, including glass break sensors and motion detectors, which provide a far greater level of security. But regardless of the sensors and cameras available, many alarm systems have historically relied upon passive responses, such as sirens, to deter intruders.
This isn’t the case with Bay Alarm’s alarm monitoring service. When one or more alarm devices are triggered, an emergency alert is automatically sent to agents at our 24/7 alarm monitoring center. Agents will promptly call you to notify you of the alarm situation and verify that you are safe. If they confirm the situation is an emergency and not simply a false alarm, monitoring agents will quickly dispatch emergency services to your home.

Agents contact local emergency services when they verify a threat to your home.
When we receive an alarm at our monitoring center, agents will contact the individual identified as your designated point of contact at the time of system installation. This will help us determine if an emergency is in progress, or if the alarm was accidentally tripped by you or a family member. If the alarm is deemed an emergency, we immediately reach out to law enforcement, who then respond to your home.

Common Questions
About Our Alarm Monitoring Services
Our typical protocol is to call the designated point of contact. If we determine there is a real threat, we immediately notify the local authorities. If it is a false alarm, we have the capability to remotely reset the alarm. However, this process can be customized as needed during alarm installation. You can also reach out to us at any time thereafter if you need to make changes to your custom alarm response protocol.
We will contact the individual(s) on the call list, which is set up at the time of system installation. This person is most often the homeowner, or someone else who is usually at the home who can determine if there is an emergency. We will inquire about the nature of the alarm, and from the information provided, we will determine if the alarm is real or if it was accidentally triggered.
In most jurisdictions, you will only be fined after multiple false alarm dispatch violations. The number of false alarms you are allowed and the fine amounts are determined by local policy. The benefit of Bay Alarm’s alarm monitoring service is that agents verify the alarm situation so that emergency services are only dispatched when there is a real threat, decreasing the likelihood of being fined for a false alarm. You can read more about false alarms here.
Some insurance companies offer a discount on premiums for security systems. We can help you determine if this is the case for you. We also suggest discussing your options with your homeowners insurance company.
We do not remotely record audio or video as part of our alarm monitoring service. If you have home security cameras, we do not have access to the live video footage. The alarm system will simply ping our alarm monitoring center when it is triggered, which prompts us to verify the emergency and dispatch authorities, or disable the alarm if it is a false alarm.
